What is Awana?
Awana is a high energy club that meets most Wednesday nights from 6:30pm – 8:10pm (8:00pm for Cubbies) beginning September 12, 2018 through April 24, 2019. The purpose of Awana is to train clubbers to know, love and serve Christ. Clubbers worship Christ, play games and memorize God’s Word each week. Awards are earned as clubbers complete activities in their handbooks.
When does Awana meet?
Wednesday nights at Harvest Bible Chapel’s Cathedral Campus, beginning September 12, from 6:30–8:10 P.M. Cubbies ends at 8:00 p.m.
Who is Awana for?
Clubbers are divided by the following 4 age groups which are determined by the school grade that they will be entering in the fall:
Puggles (2 year olds) – Registration for Puggles is limited to clubbers of volunteers only.
Cubbies: (3-4 year olds)
Sparks (K – 2nd Grade)
T&T (3rd – 5th Grade)
What special events will there be?
Awana Grand-Prix, Family Pizza Night, Pajama Night, Island Night, Glow in the Dark Night, Thankful Night, and a Christmas Party are just a few of the events we will have this year. Each week, check our calendar for special theme nights as well!
What does Awana cost?
Awana costs between $50-$85 for the year depending on if you have a uniform and if you volunteer. Your registration will cover all of the special events, handbooks, and awards.
Do you need volunteers?
YES! Awana can’t happen without our faithful volunteers. You will be blessed and energized as you witness God at work in the lives of these children. Click HERE to register to volunteer.
