How I came into a relationship with Jesus Christ
I grew up with little respect for God and no sense of my need for a Savior. Then, in 1984 I attended a local Young Life group where I heard the Gospel. Later that summer, I repented and embraced Jesus Christ as my Savior. Sadly, during the rest of high school and college, I did not take seriously my walk with Christ. Finally, through a personal crisis in 1994 I yielded to Jesus not only as my Savior, but also as the Lord.

How I came to Harvest
In 1998, my wife, Renee and I began attending Harvest Bible Chapel. Then, in 2006 I joined the Harvest staff as the Director of Harvest House Outreach. Since 2011, I have served as the Pastor of Adult Ministries.

What I do at Harvest
I serve as the Campus Pastor of Adult Ministries at Harvest in Elgin. Through this position I connect people to life-giving small groups, equip leaders to be high impact disciple-makers, and train Harvest Bible Fellowship churches in the principles of small group ministry.

Why I do what I do at Harvest
My walk with Christ changed the moment I joined a small group. The leader of that group was dedicated to entrusting to me what he had been given so that I could teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2). My life has never been the same because of that small group experience. Now I’m dedicating my life to giving others at Harvest that same kind of opportunity and equipping leaders to lead transformational small groups.
