REGISTRATION

DO YOU PRORATE THE WEEK IF WE LEAVE EARLY?
We do not prorate the week for those who leave High Five early.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?
We ask that you pay online at the time of registration with a credit card. Please register as a volunteer first to receive the discount for your child’s camp fee. If there are special circumstances please contact Lynda at lschlecht@harvestbiblechapel.org

OUR SCHEDULE CHANGED. HOW DO I CANCEL REGISRATION?
You may request a change to your child’s registration by June 9 with no charge. After June 9, there is a $25 charge plus any additional fees if the elective is more expensive. If the elective is less, no monies are refunded. You may cancel your registration by June 9 at midnight by emailing Lynda at lschlecht@harvestbiblechapel.org for a full refund.  After June 9, we will refund your deposit less a $25 fee.

HOW DO I MAKE A FRIEND REQUEST?
You choose two electives with your child. One for the morning (a.m.) and one for the afternoon (p.m.). If they have a friend request, you must register your child for the same elective at the same time (a.m. or p.m.) as their friend.

PICK UP / DROP OFF

CAN I PICK UP MY CHILD EARLY?
We apologize, but we do not allow early release or pick up. High Five is all day; unless you are registering your child for the Half Day pre-school program. Please schedule other camps, lessons and doctors appointments for a different week.

WHERE DO I PARK FOR CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT?
All parking is in the church parking lot, with check-in happening in the Lobby by last name. Check out happens by afternoon elective in each respective elective room. To ensure the safety of your child, please make sure you bring your I.D. You will not be allowed to pick up your child with you proper identification.

CLOTHING/PERSONAL BELONGINGS

HOW DO I GET MY KIDS’ T-SHIRTS?
T-shirt pick up weekend will be June 23 – 24; at the Niles campus. Camper’s shirt(s) should be labeled with first name ONLY in a sharpie marker.  All campers receive a t-shirt. Some campers receive a second shirt. You may purchase an additional High Five camper t-shirt during registration and t-shirts are available for purchase Monday, June 25 after noon.

WHAT IF MY CHILD LOSES SOMETHING OR NEEDS TO CHANGE THEIR CLOTHES?
This is a normal occurrence at High Five. We have a lost and found table in the Lobby. However, we strongly suggest you send your child in and with nothing of value. They get dirty, and their clothes and shoes will never be the same. Many children need to change.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
Your child should wear their High Five t-shirt, shorts and comfortable shoes. Everything gets dirty, stained and worn out this week. Please do not send your child in anything you love. This is camp and they play hard.

LUNCH

HOW DOES LUNCH WORK?
All campers will eat inside. They eat with their morning elective group. Full day campers bring their own lunch packed in a zip lock bag, with their first and last name clearly marked. If your child has a special lunch bag, it is no problem for you to bring that, it just needs to stay in your child’s backpack and your child needs to bring that bag with them throughout the day. If your child needs to eat in an allergy protected area, that information is noted at registration and check in. Lunch is provided for volunteers.

HOW DO YOU CARE FOR MY CHILD WITH ALLERGIES?
Note your child’s allergies when registering. All allergies are reviewed by our camp nurse. Every elective director is notified of your child’s allergies. We provide an allergy protected lunch area for your child. You must fill out an yellow card at check in on Monday, and we keep your child’s lunch separated in a yellow bag.

MISCELLANEOUS

WHAT IS THE HIGH FIVE GARAGE SALE?
Our garage sale and store opens during pick up during the week of camp. We sell any over-purchased stock and supplies. It’s a great place to pick up an extra High Five t-shirt, hat or craft supplies at a great price. We take cash or checks.

I NEED TO CONTACT STAFF DURING THE WEEK.
There will be a staffed administration counter in the Lobby or you can call (847) 398-7005 ext. 1252. We suggest not using the main church number.

HOW DOES THE NURSERY WORK?
The nursery is free of charge for all High Five volunteers that have children below “camper” age. You can check them in all day/every day that you are volunteering. You will register your nursery children on the Volunteer Registration page.
