Stewardship University

The Stewardship Ministry at Harvest is all about facilitating, teaching, and modeling biblical stewardship with our time, talents, and treasure.

Come to a half-day experience this Saturday, 1/14 to learn all about fine-tuning your stewardship! Free event, no prior registration needed. Main session begins promptly at 8:30 am in the Elgin Campus Chapel (Floor 2)Enter through the parking garage.

When the main session ends at 9:00 am, everyone will have the opportunity to select 2 workshops of their choice.

Workshop 1 takes place 9:15-10:15 am. After a 15 minute break, we will begin workshop 2 10:30-11:30 am.

Workshops are located in various rooms on Floors 2-4.

Volunteers with lanyards and gray t-shirts will help direct you, along with signage. Please visit the welcome table outside Chapel with any questions you may have!

*For those attending East Campuses (Niles, Deerfield Road, Cathedral) a Stewardship University will be offered on February 11th on the Niles Campus, (watch for details)

Discover the joy & growth that comes through maximizing your talents to serve the Lord in ways that produce abundant fruitfulness in your life & in the church.

Stewardship of Time, “Making the Most of Your Time”
 We all have 24 hours a day and live in a culture that celebrates busyness.  Learn the principles of living a life that focuses on what counts and accomplishes your priorities.

“Considerations for Home Buyers”
 If you are a first time home buyer or considering purchasing a home, hear wise principals from Godly/experienced: Real Estate agent, Mortgage expert, and owner / maintainer of many residential properties.
Speakers: Mike Schier, Cheryl Adams, Tim Ramseyer | Floor 4 SW

“Basics of Life Insurance & Will’s / Estate Planning”
 Learn about the basic types of life insurance: pro’s & cons of each.  We will be covering the difference between Will’s and Trust’s and what you need to be considering as you begin addressing your Estate Planning.

“Preparing your Child for College – Emotionally, Culturally, Spiritually and Financially” 
 Learn from a College Dean of Business and Financial Planner how to prepare your child for college: emotionally, spiritually, culturally, and financially.

“Understanding Medicare” 
Medicare can be confusing and if the wrong decision is made, very costly.  Learn about your options and how to make the correct individual decisions regarding Medicare.
