“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
Thanking the Lord: As we continue on our job search journey in 2017, we offer praise to the Lord for guiding our steps. He is our provision. He is ALL that we need – no matter what path we take in life. Now, find your next job His Way – with practical, timely, relevant advice from career coaches who have all lost – and won new jobs in a fiercely competitive workspace. The Lord’s Way Works! We meet year-round (except on holidays) on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9:00 – 11:30 AM.
Offering guidance and support: Do you feel as if you don’t have what it takes to interview successfully – and land that job? RELAX. You already have ALL that you need. We’ll show you how to prepare for an interview, remain focused and fresh during the interview, and how to follow up afterwards. We’ll start with advice that guides you from the minute you jump in your car for the interview to the time that you leave your future employer’s lobby. (We’ve thought of EVERYTHING!) What are some of the most frequently-asked questions? How should you respond? Does your work history have “issues”? We’ll coach you on how to respond to those probing, difficult questions truthfully, while effectively dismissing those blips on your background once and for all. Take some time over the next couple of weeks to practice these winning techniques, and then — “go live” at our next session!
Making a difference in your job search with God’s help: These free, practical Christ-centered workshops are designed to guide you through the search process, step-by-step. The series is team-taught by Career Connections Ministry coaches who are employed in job search, business development, and training industries; they have also experienced job loss and will share their real-life solutions to job search questions and techniques.
Spending time in the Word: You’ve shared with us how much our opening devotionals mean to you. Take a few minutes to plan ahead for our February 18 devotional, “Provision” by reading Psalms 84:11, Philippians 4:19, and Hebrews 11:6. God be with you.
