Awana | Aurora

What is Awana?
Awana is a high energy club that meets most Wednesday nights from 6:00pm – 8:00pm beginning September 13, 2017 through April 25, 2018. The purpose of Awana is to train clubbers to know, love and serve Christ. Clubbers worship Christ, play games, study and memorize God’s Word each week. Awards are earned as clubbers complete activities in their handbooks.

When does Awana meet?

Wednesday nights at Harvest Bible Chapel’s Aurora Campus (101 S. Barnes Rd.) beginning September 13, from6:00–8:00 P.M.

Who is Awana for?
Clubbers are divided by the following 3 age groups which are determined by the school grade that they will be entering in the fall:

Cubbies: (Age 3-Pre-Kindergarten) – Must be 3 years old by September 1, 2017 and potty-trained.
Sparks (K – 2nd Grade)
T&T (3rd – 5th Grade)

What does Awana cost?
Awana base cost is $45 for the year per child.  This covers handbooks, awards, crafts and special events (excluding the Grand Prix).  Cubbies and Sparks require a vest.  If you child does not have a vest from a previous year, a new one can be purchased through registration for $11.

Awana can’t happen without our faithful volunteers. We have serving opportunities for people of all kinds of gifting: Administration, Creativity/Decorating, Shepherding, Encouragement, Service, etc. The majority of our volunteer positions require a commitment to serve every week. We do have a limited number of positions available for twice a month service. If you are able to serve as a volunteer in Awana: Register Here!

At any time you can email Brigette Patel at bpatel@harvestbible.org who is happy to help answer any questions.
