Purpose for Internships

Biblical Soul Care passionately cares for the members in our church and practices the sufficiency of Scripture in the application of biblical counseling. We desire to join with you in returning soul care to the local church. We believe this will be accomplished by training men and women to participate at every level of discipleship whether intentional, directive, corrective or intensive. Biblical Soul Care is not just for pastors or biblical counselors but it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer (1 Peter 2:4-10).

Biblical Soul Care Internship is designed to help equip more leaders reach the sinner and suffer in each of our churches. While each of our internship positions are designed to assist any Harvest Bible Chapel church in the area of Biblical Soul Care, we also believe in cross training individuals to be effective as Adult Ministries Pastors or Directors. We are all called to discipleship (Matthew 28:18-20). If we are being effective in discipleship, then we are teaching others who in turn teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2).
