    Legal and Planned Giving Assistant

    Job Description

    Full-time legal assistant or paralegal to assist Senior Legal Director. Position includes communicating with clients, church members, trustees, attorneys and other professionals.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities

    • Manage new files and shared calendars.
    • Schedule weekly meetings.
    • Draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

    Communications and Media Designer

    Job Description
    This position reports to the Communications Director and is responsible for providing on-brand and high-impact design and communications services for print, web, social media, events and more. The Communications and Media Designer serves in a key role to help get the word out about Harvest Bible Chapel’s church-planting ministry.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities
    • Design, layout print and digital communication for small to large scale projects, events and special initiatives
    • Updates and maintains website content daily, weekly, and monthly as needed
    • Provides on-brand social media content graphics and media to distribute throughout a multiple channels

    Engineer II

    Full Time| 2 positions Elgin & Rolling Meadows

    Job Description

    Rolling Meadows: The primary role of the Engineer II is to work with the Operations Team to repair and maintain our church facilities.  This position is based out of the Rolling Meadows campus and will require travel to the Niles and Chicago Cathedral Campuses on a weekly basis. The Candidate should possess experience and knowledge in a variety of trades.  Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone on projects, work with other team members, or work with church volunteers to complete tasks in a timely manner.

    Elgin:​ 

    The Engineer II position is a critical member of our Engineering & Trades Team.  The primary role of the Engineer II is to identify and address issues as they arise in the facility, as well as working with team to complete projects successfully.  This full time position reports to the Chief Engineer at the Elgin Campus.  While this position is based out of Elgin, candidate must be willing to travel on a regular basis to other Harvest properties.  Candidate should possess extensive experience and skills in the following trades: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, and Painting.

    • Plan and execute building projects to enhance the facility.

    Job Description

    This position encompasses general janitorial duties including cleaning, vacuuming, washing windows, etc. Position is also responsible for the assistance of event setup and tear-down. Additionally, porter responsibilities will include unloading and delivering supplies within the building.

    Director of Communications

    The Communications Director is a key member of the leadership team. This person will create, organize, plan and implement effective communications messages and strategies to church and community audiences. Assures brand consistency and oversees all communications of Harvest Bible Chapel, including all weekend communications, website and on-line initiatives, publications, event and ministry initiative support, environments, and everything in between.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities
    • Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to serve church-wide and specific ministry/audience needs
    • Work with church and ministry leaders to define, develop and effectively communicate messages to church-wide and specific audiences
    • Be an advocate for creative and clear communication across all mediums
    • Brand management for all things communications - protecting clarity, brand presence and consistency
    • Lead large-scale initiatives and campaigns across all campuses (currently 7)
    • Continually look for creative ways that will evoke a response from the congregation and community
    • Write and edit communication messages for use in various mediums and to various audiences

    The Director of IT is responsible for management of projects, supervision of departmental staff members and making recommendations to the CIO regarding IT policy and procedures.     Senior Staff Accountant

    Job Description
    The Senior Staff Accountant will report to the Director of Accounting and will be responsible for financial accounting and reporting for the ministries of Harvest Bible Chapel and it's affiliated entities. This will include reviewing transactions and monthly reporting and preparing analysis of financial results for all entities.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities

    • Process and review transactions in the various accounting systems
    • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and analysis
    • Prepare monthly reports and ad hoc reports, including providing reports for various departments and ministry leaders
    • Improve existing processes and establish new processes that maintain good accounting controls
    • Create spreadsheets and analyses as necessary to summarize results and support decision making
    • Review accounting transactions and ensure the financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
    • Assist in the annual financial statement audits
    • Facilitate annual budget process
    Educational Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA certification
    Work Experience Requirements

    Customer Service Team Lead

    This position reports to the Call Center Manager and is responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to donors and customers through the daily management of a team of 5-6 Ministry Service Representatives (MSR’s) at Walk in the Word. This role includes monitoring performance of team members in areas of service, quality, and efficiency of inbound and outbound calls, data entry, email correspondence, and order and donation processing. This role also includes, with the assistance of the Call Center Manager, training, coaching, motivation, evaluating, recognizing and rewarding team members.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide daily direction to the MSR’s and contracted call center regarding new offers, products, events, programs and systems
    • Manage efficient and quality service of inbound and outbound calls
    • Manage accurate and complete data entry into database, providing correction, adjustments, and suggestions on data processing
    • Manage system Help Tickets/Error Resolutions and follow-ups, Orbital transactions (credits, refunds, and inquiries), and Push2Pay account set-ups and cancellations
    • Ensure timely and appropriate responses to customers and donor correspondence (mail and email)
    • Enter accounts receivable and new donor/customer accounts into database
    • Provide auditing of 10% of MSR and contracted call center calls, data entry, order and donation processing, and email correspondence
    • Provide statistical and performance feedback and coaching on a weekly basis to each team member, working to maintain a high-quality work environment that motivates employees to perform at their highest level
    • Write and administer performance reviews and provide appropriate training, with the assistance of the Sr. Manager Donor and Ministry Services, for skill improvement
